See the carbon impact of your biomass boiler with our new carbon reports
AMP heat contract customers will now receive a monthly summary of their heat generation and carbon savings.
Our new reporting system provides a summary and an asset by asset breakdown of the heat generated and carbon savings of your asset(s).
In our latest article we explain how our new biomass carbon reports work so you can fully understand the data displayed in your summary. If you have any questions about our biomass carbon reports, please contact us on biomassheat.reporting@ampcleanenergy.com.
How does my report work?
This is the name of the biomass asset
This is the heat generated by the biomass asset over the reported month as measured by the installed heat meter(s)
This is the calculated CO2 saving based on the biomass heat generated, displacing the alternative fossil fuel heat source and using data available from UK Government emissions factors
This is the total biomass heat generated over a 12-month rolling period as measured by the installed heat meter(s)
This is the total year to date calculated CO2 saving based on the biomass heat generated, displacing the alternative fossil fuel heat using data available from UK Government emissions factors
Monthly biomass heat generation shown in kilowatt hours (kWh)
Where we have this information, the carbon savings for your biomass asset are calculated based on your previous fossil fuel heat source using data available from UK Government emissions factors. If we are unable to determine your previous fossil fuel heat source, this will be calculated using kerosene as the assumed alternative fossil fuel that has been displaced.
