We have a new opportunity for a motivated and detail-driven Paralegal to join us on a fixed-term contract, providing maternity cover for a minimum of nine months.  In this role, the successful candidate will support the General Counsel across a broad range of legal, governance, and operational matters, with particular focus on real estate support for our BatteryBox portfolio, company secretarial governance, and insurance administration for the AMP Group.

The role will involve

  • Playing a key role in supporting the Legal function by delivering high-quality legal, administrative, and organisational support
  • Coordinating execution of legal documents and management of document repositories
  • Supporting our legal and development teams with title reviews, land registry submissions, SDLT submissions and related filings
  • Managing statutory filings for all AMP Group Companies, including confirmation statements, officer appointments/terminations, PSC updates, share allotments, and other Companies House submissions
  • Maintaining accurate statutory registers and corporate records
  • Supporting the legal team with governance processes, compliance initiatives, and corporate structuring activities
  • Supporting with the coordination and administration of ESG-related data, including gathering, formatting, and submitting information for internal reporting and external disclosures
  • Managing external legal spend, invoices and PO requests
  • Managing insurance renewals and claims for the Group.

What we are looking for

This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys working across a variety of business areas, can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, has a strong interest in energy projects and brings the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • A law degree and a genuine enthusiasm for developing your legal career
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal, delivering high-quality, accurate work
  • Exceptionally organised, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines confidently
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong command of drafting and document management
  • Skilled at reviewing and summarising legal documents with clarity and precision
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and maintaining momentum across them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident style
  • Proficient in MS Office and modern document management systems
  • Working knowledge of legal document management, company secretarial requirements, and Companies House filings
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive, reliable, and committed to ongoing learning and development.
