Dellsome Power is a 5MW Battery Energy Storage System (‘BESS’) connected to the UK Power Networks (‘UKPN’) grid near Hatfield, Hertfordshire, supporting the UK Energy Transition.

The site is located within an unused section of land that suits a project of this nature and was granted planning consent in less than four months. This BESS facility allows for clean energy to be shifted from times of high generation to times of high demand, complementing renewable generation sources such as wind & solar.
