Heysham Power is a 4MW peaking plant connected to the Scottish Power Energy Network (SPEN) in Bootle, Liverpool

The Urban Reserve facility occupies a small parcel of previously unused brownfield with the remainder of the property being developed as a council highways depot. The site, located in an area of mixed commercial and industrial land use, was granted planning consent by delegated decision in less than 4 months and includes a new dedicated highways access.

“Having identified Bootle as a target area for an Urban Reserve project, we contacted the landlord directly. He had written off a what was an unused parcel of land but was delighted we could offer him a 30 year lease income on the site.””
