The Challenge: Navigating the Energy Transition
The UK’s energy transition is putting immense strain on local electricity networks. As we shift to electric vehicles and heat pumps, our grid struggles to balance intermittent renewable generation with rising demand. Without flexible, local battery energy storage, we risk continued reliance on fossil fuels to fill the gaps.
Battery Box solves this by deploying modular, local battery energy storage that fits into just two car parking spaces. By transforming underutilised land into vital energy assets, we can store excess renewables and release power locally when needed. This approach strengthens community grid resilience while maximising the value of your land.
